- sorry for any english mistakes.

It's been said that Jaekyung's "bad luck" may be directly linked to the day he spoke to his father shortly before his death: *"If I win, you can kneel over and die for all I care."*
A phrase charged with adolescent rage, repressed pain, and an intense desire for recognition.

He entered the next fight driven by concentrated energy: it wasn't just a competition, it was a final test before his father. He fought with cold fury, extreme determination, all to show his worth despite what his father said about his own son. And he won. First place.

When he returned home, for the first time feeling something like happiness, eager to share his victory, he found his father dead on the floor, victim of a drug overdose.

This moment is devastating not only because of the immediate grief, but also because of the implicit guilt: had he indirectly wished that? Had he said anything close to it? The temporal coincidence between his victory and his father's death creates a devastating psychological link.

It's reasonable to assume that this emotional shock triggered a subsequent depressive state: lack of motivation, existential emptiness, loss of his previous purpose (to prove something), and anger, a constant, repressed anger. Without his aggressive emotional anchor sustaining his physical and mental performance in the ring… …he goes on a streak of bad luck in subsequent matches.
Taking advantage of his vulnerability, Eminem gains Jaekyung's trust… only to later betray that trust through some planned trap (as payback for refusing to join their drug trade). As a vengeful and coercive act, the group violently attacks him. He is sexually assaulted.

Under the group's control, driven by the urgent need to pay off the drug debts inherited from his father, Jaekyung allows himself to be sexually exploited as an alternative or supplementary form of payment. His body is no longer his own.
He made a lot of money, never running out of "clients," as many men and women as he could, who kept coming back for the opportunity to dominate a being of such wild beauty. Thanks to this, he was able to pay off his debts sooner than he imagined and freed himself physically from both the group and the financial obligations associated with that life. Despite this... he continued to lose his matches over and over.

It was during this vulnerable period that Jaekyung seems to have discovered sex as an unconscious tool for emotional regulation.
One night, a former client met him on the street and they agreed to go to a hotel. Jaekyung had previously been forced into sexual passivity, but now there was no one to force him. He dominated the client during sex; now he was the top and this revived him because he felt not only power, but a subsequent emotional catharsis made him discover he could master himself. The day after this autonomous sexual experience, he would have a fight, and what seemed impossible happened: he won after countless consecutive defeats.

Thus emerged the new functional behavioral pattern, and the belief in "bad luck" was born within him - The Jinx - He needed to regain control, to exert mastery over his own body during sex before each match to win again. The act ceased to be a mere physical act and became a mandatory ritual.

It's not just superstition.
It's an unconscious psychological pattern formed through lived events:
Sexuality initially linked to violence,
Then transformed into a distorted state
to restore inner power
before the physical battle in the ring.
Victory conditioned not only on the body,
but on the deep memories
of lost control...
