Side stories seem to be canon. Gitae doesn't die in chapter 5. Chapter 5 is a flashback to how Jihun and Gitae met (Jihun saves Gitae from those guys before amputating his leg). The flashback ends and shows present-day Gitae huddled in a blanket after recovering his memories.
Can someone please explain whether the side stories are canon because i thought gitae died in chapter 5 (end of main story) when he went outside?
