Well, I understand why the author had to kill him. When you are the head of an organisation like that you can't get out of it. All his life people would keep expecting things from him and he looked so tired of it... I'm sad of that ending but I understand. That way he becomes an unbreakable legend, he deserves at least that.
Also glad they couldn't win in the end, it's not "the power of friendship and determination overcomes every obstacle" or some cringe morals like that. Sometimes even Ben, even the mighty MC, they loose too. I liked that.
And the final with Stephen ╥﹏╥ nooooo !! I wanted to see much more than that !! I wanted to see his reaction when Gray tells him his story, or even some info of what happened to him... I waited so much for their reunion, the end is so sudden !!
