Jo is a distant memory as of now. Guess who he never ever forgets. The only constant in his life. He wanted to be found. He has always been waiting. Even when he pretends he wants to leave.
He didn’t pretend about wanting to leave. He’s just stuck between the choice of completing running away from the gang world, versus trying to live a peaceful life with TJ but there’s a lot going on that TJ has not let go of YET. Until he does, I can’t sense endgame. Author did say there will be an endgame, and that they’re sticking with their choice. We will figure the choice in S3 halfway.
He has tried to “escape” many times. Like with his fake ID, the name he used and the fact he didnt go far away. Always close to be found. Always waiting. I agree he wants TJ and not his life, but he always goes back.At this point he is hurting everyone.
I dont know about endgame, i know that he is fighting himself to stay away from TJ and he cant. He does love him, i think the rest are distractions. Like if he loved Jo, would he do this? If he goes back to Jo, nothing will make sense. He will just be a hypocrite. A bigger mess than he has been.
He has gotten closer to Jo so we will see.
