It has the same atmosphere to ICSYT, but this one is more dark and tbh kinda gorey? Also kinda tragedy too And the whole history itself between nain and amon that led to the present time is so complex and detailed, so I'll just tell you what I remember cuz I did read the mtl version si the translations are sometimes kinda off—i didn't even noticed that they only has s3x in the morning. Anyways here we go.
So I will first like spoil the history between amon and nain—I may be wrong about some stuff and will not go on about their inner monologue or contextual details, cuzbit was a pretty hard read with the mtl and all, but these are what I remember and from a plot standpoint I'll nit spoil what happens forward just the history and background
Here it is,,, so before all this—like their current kingdom was created. Nain was living in a village hundreds of years ago, that was when he met amon. He didn't know what amon was which was a dragon—many people weren't aware of what he is at that time.
Anyways amon himself as were many dragons are, is very apathetic and js searching for his mate and creating territories, he even accumulated a very zealous followers that revered him as god , , and they're pretty delusional, that went crazy on the nearby villages near nain, slaughtering them for amon. But still amon is so bored of life, then he met nain. Initially between the two there was attraction but most of it was nain, he was attracted wnd curious about amon, but the latter was actually js a little bit interested. But the more they interacted the more they grew intimate and ig attracted with each other, amon even suspected if nain was his mate and giving him a feather from his dragon form—this is relevant cuz many motfis from the novel and the flashbacks relate to nain rembering this type of feather.
They grew affectionate with each other and nain kept visiting amon and both of em gifting each, cuz when he met him he was js sitting there hitting a nicki pose like a rock. A friend from nain village grew suspicious of nainBut then tragedy struck amons followers found nain's villageand slaughtered them and they tortured nain, to the point of almost dying but not before amon ate him— let's remember that when a dragon eats their mate their eye color and hair color changed to be similar to their dragon's mate. So that's why nain and him have the same coloring.
After revival amon crrated his kingdom, but nain was depressed and traumatized to what he's suffered and even when amon took the one's that tortured him and brutally killed them in front him nain, nain couldn't stimach it cuz he has a pretty timid personality. Therefore his emotional health deteriorated even more, but then he met a someone? Or like a servant, that he grew close with and helped him mentally but secretly that person was secretly fake, and ig amon heard a convo from that guy and killed him, idk if it's because of amon himself or it was ordered by amon. So nain deteriorated even more; cuz he didn't know that the guy was a bastard and still amon offed them, and amon was worried that nain will off himself, and from his twisted mind concluded that nain is like this cuz he isn't used to violence, — that's where the ceremony was rooted where people kill each other to help nain get used to it. And he also instructed people to make nain forget his memories every time he gets depressed and they did this so often that nain couldn't even remember himself anymore and how he and amon met. And the resha system was created not to be a harem, but to torture nain mentally and again to make him get used to violence, it started of as people whi get cloe to nain becomes a resha and since they believe nain and amon are gods, so when they felt favored by nain, they off themselves because they think they'll go to heaven with nain to serve him. This tortured nain even more.
Then here we are on the current timeline, where nain don't know himself and when he gets depressed they'll do the amnesia therapy on him again, he actually has a love and hate relationship with amon, he like him because of lingering feelings from tha past and fears him. , but then Gwen appeard he actually. Gwen came from the magic tower the same with Eira from ICSYT, abd he hates dragons and developed a unaliving potion against them, from his kong study about dragon's mates. And he felt pity from the individuals that dragons supposedly love, that's also the reason why he went on trastasa becuz he heard of a dragon there with a mate, abd the reason amon snuffed him is because if the unaliving potion. He initially felt pity on Nain but then fellin love with him, and now we are on the current timeline. I don't know if all this info is correct thooo, so i suggest y'all actually read the novel it's really good. This was js the history between amon nain and gwen.
This is it for now that tired me HAHAHAHHAHAH, ANYWAYSS This is actually just the history on why there are what they are as if now and their motivations, there's actually still a plot moving forward and mystery and intrigue.

Omg im excited to know they are in the same universe. Like the lore is getting expanded and we get to see the it getting fleshed out thru different perspectives, settings themes how it affects ppl etc. Cos we get too see the red dragon up the cold north, and the black dragon up hot south. Also im guessing amon is older than yanu. And im excited to see if we get a cross over! Tho i doubt but a girl can hope.

Omgggg i didn't expect this to be turned into a manhwa!!! Guys read the novel it's the same author from 'I can see your stat' from what I've read this is a shared universe for that one, i really like this author writing style they have a certain niche when it comes to their fantasy, and also thei Mls. Also if you've read the manhwa of 'i can see your stat ' the novel was much better, like the inner dialogue of the characters are much more detailed and intimate.
