I hate how people protesting against gentrification/luxury reconstruction practices are portrayed as 'ugly', impulsive/irrational people. (I've seen this trope in rich ML stories and it's annoying AF, the authors are smooth brains or maybe have an agenda... pro capitalist, pro monopoly one maybe? It's South Korea after all)
Governments letting construction companies and similar privatize buildings is so scummy, and I know I'm expecting too much nuance and commentary from another slop rich ML rapey BL story, but at least, don't make fun of people rightfully being upset. Punch up, not down. Or just don't punch down. It's not that hard.
