Real like can others just be honest like-- i just know others are just going along with the opinion of the majority,,, Now that Jaekyung's past is revealed they're still hating, but when it comes to other BL works that are tenfolds more toxic such as PASSION they literally simp for the top who's a ruthless murderer, sexual harasser, a criminal with no morals (his past hasn't been revealed yet) but even as the story progresses they still simped for him unlike Jaekyung who's done less. Like is murder not more grave than sexual harassment? Open your eyes gang,,, (I'm speaking from my opinion, if you dare debate with me I don't mind, I just want you guys to understand my perspective and the others who shares the same opinion with me)
I dislike them equally ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ I'm sure I'm not alone. And how do you even find that out? Do you check a person's profile and then search for their hateful Jaekyung comments and their loving Ilay comments to compare?
I can only speak for myself and I think it's a flimsy reason but here we go. if I'm reading a story about murderers, gangs and shit like that, I can tolerate bad character's flaws more readily than if its about regular civilians. You know what I mean? So a story about university students having a romance but turns to rape and abuse etc, I'll be more critical of the ml than a story about a gangster doing the same thing. I know it's hypocritical but I can't really help it. The more like regular people the characters are, the less I will tolerate the abuse etc.
Now personally I'm not such a jaekyung hater, he's too bland to really bother me and I never really think stories aren't worth reading just because of unlikable characters.

Most popular Yaoi’s and I mean MOST popular yaoi’s… LITERALLY HAVE BLACK/RED FLAG ML’s so idk why people are attacking this specific one but then again I’ve also seen hate in other yaoi’s but from people from this “fan base”. I feel like people are just going at each other’s throats for no reason atp because they can just go away and read smth else, the tags are also there for a reason… like im balls deep in some of these yaoi’s and I’m just here like fuck it, I will stick around for the plot lol.
