I think the villain took advantage of this to frame the ML as the cause of the accident, thus killing his brother and striking a blow against the rival company.
It's the worst mistake he could have made because now he's not only proving what Yigon said, but he's also forcing the ML to go head-to-head with him.
What worries me is the state Yigon is in, and the two-week hiatus isn't helping.
Well, the ending was obvious. I hope the author chooses the route of having the MC hide somewhere far away and not lose his memory. Maybe even Grandpa can help him.
