I mean he's probably being groomed by the government too, let's not really put all the blame on him. Just like mc said he's still in twenties he's still young and become a child soldier too. An age where he should study and have fun but he see his friends died tragically in front of him. That's the 1st time someone show concerns, a reaction that's rare for someone like him who got groomed and taught to go beyond his limit. So let's not really blame him fully okay?

im not blaming him for the lackluster system put in place for hunters as a whole, but i am putting the blame of his actions on him. he is, as of current situation, an adult character. An adult character in a position of power. so yes, regardless of what might hv been the cause of his current temperament (yes the gov's grooming and his trauma and past) he is still responsible for the hurt and injustice he is putting others through.
the conditions you speak of could be explanations to his actions, but it is not an excuse.

if being late is such a problem and you want to minimise as much impact as possible, you'd actually use your power, position, and money to make the hunters system more efficient. not bulldoze your way through every gate destroying your own body.
he's not doing it to save anyone else from suffering, he's doing it bc his ego and trauma that wasn't consulted is making him do it.
