well i agree. however if you look at it at another perspective, Dan had his grandma to take care of him, but jaekyung got no one except those two complete strangers (the coach & the coach’s mom), it might not seems much but it matters a lot
you say absolutely the opposite of what happens in this chapter...
making us feel sorry for him as if Dan had a healthy childhood and grew up well fed and safe, he too went through shit and he still is good, i hope jk doesn’t give any excuses for his behavior fr, he did have it bad growing up but that is never an excuse to turn into complet garbage
