I am not in favor of rape scenes—they are sad and should never be treated as a joke. However, on this site, we encounter all sorts of genres, including psychological and extremely toxic stories that are worse than you might imagine. I am not defending readers who choose to read manhwas with toxic plots, but I think we should remember that everyone has the freedom to choose. Some people are simply curious and may come across these kinds of stories—it doesn’t define them as human. Toxic stories also have a target audience, so if it’s not your cup of tea, the best choice is simply not to read them and protect your peace.

Honestly, ur so right. Sadly, I started reading bl and yaoi all of this toxic stuff when I was 9 and didn't realise how bad they are till I grew up like they became the norm for me i started romanticising toxic mls and bls thinking this is the norm and when my cousin touched me inappropriately I didn't realise that that was not okay I thought oh this is normal but I started feeling disgusted with myself I stopped going over but I never told anyone what happened because I realised too late that all of this isn't normal now im trying to change my standards but they are kinda engraved lol im really not the best at explaining.

I'm so sorry that you got to experienced that, what happened isn't your fault at all. It makes sense that as a kid you were curious and got drawn to those kinds of stories, lots of us do things we don’t fully understand when we’re young. And the facts you are thinking to change your standards shows a lot of strength in you. It's never too late tho. Be kind to your self and remember that being curious doesn't define who we are.
