I’m so disappointed

So you’re telling me out of all the options for how the author could have handled Ryohei find out about them…they chose the worst and least satisfying one possible???!?!! We could have had Ryohei walking in on them, or Yuki finding out about Ryohei cheating and confronting him, or Mako finding out about the cheating and ending things with Ryohei while telling him off. But no. We got a scene of Ryohei graphically raping Mako in a public restroom while insulting and belittling him. What the fuck

Im surprised to know that people didnt see it coming lol
Like, the moment it was established that Mako was a bit of a M (after Ryohei uses him) I knew where it was going. The way author handled that told me they saw someone being violated as more of a kink than a real problem :/

Same lol im so tired of random ass rape scenes. Yeah I get it, he's bad, I didnt need a rape scene to prove it to me. Would've also much rather preferred seeing one of them find out about the other a different way

Exactly!! It just feels lazy and useless. The scene serves no narrative purpose. We already knew how Ryohei felt about Mako and that he was an asshole, a cheater, and would sexually assault Mako when he felt angry or bored. This scene provided absolutely nothing new and took away from what could have been a very dramatic and entertaining climax in the story where the affairs are revealed and Ryohei gets what’s coming to him

Lowkey idek if I agree Mako is an M. I feel like the men in his life just claim that as an excuse to assault him and treat him roughly. It honestly seems like he is just a way too forgiving, and submissive person who is used to his partners treating him like crap and blaming himself for it.
