It’s Really nice to see the ML suffer from previous actions and realize the misunderstandings (maybe not all, but still) but it’s nice to see his regrets and that the FL doesn’t have to do all the work.
Sadly he’s the ML and this is goi g to go ‘Harlequin’ style where the ML always, Always gets the FL.
If I could I’d ship FL with the Princess as powerful platonic Female friends that don’t need the Males of the story.
I wouldn’t mind the ML and FL becoming friends but with romance off the table. What happened to FL was too much. （￣へ￣）
