Because nobody cares about the new character and his backstory. The author is dragging it.

I think its too early to test their relationship with anothet person instead of giving them the challenge of having an imbalance of power now that ahn is the CEO or how hes too busy to see him rather than just adding an extra character??. Idk tho
Well the author chose to portray another struggles, such as their age gap relationship, challenging Kang’s previous tendencies of dating older women
I think the set up was fine, exploring the age gap, but they are spending way too much time on doyeon’s sob story for seemingly no reason. Kang was a fine character and Ml last season without knowing any of his backstory. Half the recent season felt like flash back and the artist is reusing a lot of facial expressions for some reason. Maybe not a lot but on kang they’re some of his kore extreme ones so it’s weirdly noticeable. Spending too much time trying to get into kang’s backstory and finding repeat faces is taking me out of the story and making it less enjoyable.
