I think it’s more of a break, a peaceful, still life where she can recover somewhat from trauma(although it seems she hasn’t completely) and wrap her head around reincarnation without her life being in danger. It is basically a kind way to get reincarnated.
Is there a reason for her second reincarnation in modern korea? The third life makes sense because she became a swordmaster but idk about the second life
