Again, did you not read the chapter? Or is your version of happiness just perfect people living their perfect little lives? It's 2 traumatized people who have found a new understanding of each other and a new safety in true relationship and are ready to pick up where they left off with a new level of connection.

But perhaps you are one of these privileged folks who simply cant comprehend how that's a happy ending for traumatized people.

Happiness cannot be defined the same for everyone because people simply dont have the same life story and psyche. And if you cant even understanding something like this perhaps you need to get out of your little bubble.
