As devastating as it is, I think it's a good way to end the story? Like a form of salvation for the both of them since though this is an immortal x mortal, through the centuries they've basically been going on the same cycleβso both of them dying this chap and hopefully moving on another life is definitely so much better but I hope there's side stories
