You got it wrong. Charin and Tehir's "species" can do dogshit. It's about receptors and omnibreeders,not their "species". Just because Charin can get pregnant doesnt mean Tehir can too.
i feel so bad for kimoto and iirc charin's and tehir's "species" can either get pregnant or impregnate someone... what if kimoto got pregnant from this...
