First art was gorgeous, pretty, "chinese manhua fantasy bokeh Wonyoungism" level of pretty. 2nd art is actually also good, it's just not "chinese manhua fantasy blurrish bokeh Wonyoungism" style, but equally good, or rather better than most manhwa available already.
Once I got used to the 2nd art, I tried looking at the 1st art again, and yes, 1st art was still prettier. It's like seeing kpop idols with lots of filters. But 2nd art is not bad, and the story is interesting enough that I grew to like the 2nd art.
