Continuing on from ch11 Amon is laughing saying how they look like bugs struggling to stay above water. Hearing Amons laughter the servants not only decide not to save the drowning servants, an elder servant decides to kick another one in to appease him. This deeply upsets our MC whose beginning to realize he ALWAYS witnesses someone getting hurt in Amons presence and everyone around becomes evil yet there is nothing he can do about it. Feeling helpless he wanders towards the edge of the boat and looks as the flailing servants in the water are finally being helped from a different boat. His mind wanders to what itd be like if HE jumped in the water. How nice itd be to escape this life and how the pain and stress would go numb in the waters(su*c*de). He makes the move to jump into the water but Amon stops him and asks him what hes doing (kindly). The Mc simply replies, "i want to see what it'd be like if i jumped in the water." Amon asks the elder servant nearest to Mc if MC knows how to swim and the servant replies no, so, Amon asks why the hell he just stood there and watched. Amon tells Mc that if he wants to jump than the priests(servants taking care of Mc) are doing a bad job and suggests he kills them all. This triggers a flashback to Amon doing this before, killing half his previous servants in front of Mc. He beheaded all of them with his bare hands and the memory reinforces Mcs helpless feelings. His thoughts at the end of the chapter "there is really nothing id be able to do against him." ((Sorry if the tranalation isnt good this is the best i can do :( . )) -Jarvis
