Sexual exploration and sexual violence are two very different things, and this scene 100% fits in the latter.
People don't ignore their partners words completely or rip their assholes open as a means to explore what they like during sex and what not.
This scene had nothing to do with "these characters characters always liked it rough and are exploring sex", this scene was the top being angry and taking it out on his lover.
Sure, there are people who like it more rough than this, in a safe way. I guarantee you people don't want to get their hole split apart on a daily basis, because that just screams for a trip to the hospital

People just don’t get it. There are individuals who like their s*x waaaay rougher than this. Just because all these yahoos in the comments only like vanilla s*x, doesn’t mean that’s the way everyone does it. Sexual exploration is how you learn what turns you on and what doesn’t, how you know if you’re compatible with your partner.
