I'm in the same mindset with those doctors, what if we were to experiment on them and torture them the rest of their lives? Hmm, they wouldn't be so strong now would they? Let them experience true torture to the point they're so mentally gone, give them some space and air to breathe just to break them all over again, that's what I'd do, keeping them in a perpetual loop until they die, in which I would try to find a way to keep them alive forever so they'll forever be in pain and never be able to rest. That's just me anyway (▰˘◡˘▰)

Well congrats, if you killed that doctor, you'll probably make Chase go insane or kill him. That doctor is the best in his field and all those insanely rich and powerful dominant alphas go to that doctor.
But that doctor is also a scientist, so he is extremely interested in research:
secondary genders/pheromones.
And getting a test subject is not that easy ( for example he kept an dominant alpha, who was manifested since birth and a serial killer in his lab in KML) and Chase has become his test subject willingly.
But Steward would never intentionally harm Chase, because then he would have to deal with Ashley Miller. And since Koi loves all his children, and the only one that Ashley loves is Koi.....Steward would be dead meat.^^

Being the best doesn’t excuse you to do bat shit insane by feeding them whatever the fuck. Also you really took my comment so seriously? I know he’s the best doctor but if you’re in Josh’s situation and some doctor you barely know does that to the person he has a crush on? You can love and praise the doctor if you want even support his curiosity of two brothers raping their little brother! Good to know you’re into those

How did you get kind of weird idea?
Do you really take fictional characters that serious? Sure what the doctor thinks and says is moraly an absolute nogo and I'm also certain that none of his siblings would have done something like that to Bliss.
It only shows how obsessed he is with his research. Since rut/ heat the whole pheromones shit is actually a thing in omegaverse. You might don't like it, but it is a topic in those kind of stories.
With Chase you have one problem: all the meds he takes are experimental.
And dominant alphas can eat insane shit, most med's don't have any effect on them.

Here, he is talking about that serial killer alpha in the lab and Chase.
So testing of meds for dominant alphas is a big problem.
And if Josh was so concerned, why did he run away? The first time Josh was with Chase his condition wasn't as bad as now. Because that night with Josh is bothering Chase, because he remembers being with an omega, but nothig else. He feared he raped someone that night. If we're serious Josh also added to Chase's worsened condition.

Josh had Pete because he found out too late that he was pregnant, that's what he told Yeonwoo. So some time must have passed since they had sex.
It still doesn't change the fact that all this time Chase feared that he raped someone.
Don't get me wrong, I like Josh and I can understand why he fled. Who knows, he probably even had problems coming to terms with that he bottomed for a male, I think the first time for an omega has some effect on them. I only said that it most likely worsened Chase's condition.

I don't think you get the convo's way of thinking, Josh doesn't have any ill intent towards Chase but to take care of his child and financially be well off, and him getting pregnant was an inconvenienced situation. Chase's brother was the one who put trauma on him of the idea of him fucking a dog, and not only that, the doctor doesnt care about the people he is "treating". It doesn't matter if the doctor is best in their field, they still could kill the person you are caring for (or in Josh's case protecting) ESPECIALLY IF THE MEDICATION IS MAKING THE INDIVIDUAL PARALYZED AND UNABLE TO REACT. Even if Dominant Alpha's are more prone to recovery, medication messes you up REAL bad and especially the doctor isn't giving ways to "treat" it, he is using him as an experiment. I wouldn't want a doctor to be treating me as a test subject, and that lack of empathy is what leads to one being a criminal. Also, so you understand the reading, Josh got PREGNANT with a child from a fucking situation he couldnt get out of (if you say "oh he should've done this or that", you're not getting the story plot point), and he wanted to raise the child without any complications, cause if the Miller family knew there would be TOO MUCH that would happen and it's not favorable to be locked up or even worse killed, especially the worst scenario being having his child taken away from him. So in all that said, do you really understand the point of this conversation? If you are STILL on the doctor's side, then I fear you aren't one of the people who have empathy on such readings and just see it as "oh it still needs to be done even if its the worst fucking possible thing when there could be another solution to it"

You are aware that this is not real life?
By the way possible spoilers.
Yes, I know what Grayson did, and I don't know how often I wrote it in the comments what he did, because at least half of the commentors read a bad translation.-_-
I know why he did it and why he is like that. Why the Miller family is like this etc.
I actually started to like Grayson as insane as he is, but that you won't understand if you are dead set on hating him and didn't read his story.
Yes, I also think that the doctor takes his obsession with experiments and dominant alphas too far. But that doctor is a necessity, it's not just Chase who goes to that doctor.....they all go ( I read a few of the author novels, the name Steward always comes up). And that is the reality in that universe, whether you, me or anyone else like it or not. All those rich, powerful psychos go to that doctor.
And Chase doesn't care, if his assistant doesn't controle his med doses, he eats them like candy. That wasn't his first overdose.
For non dominant alphas/ who have no experience with them, it looks weird, crazy, sick whatever you want to call it. You saw Josh's reaction. But dominant alphas are not normal, for the author they are psychopaths.
Chase really would have been better off as a beta, the doctor even said it.
Sure after Josh found out that he was pregnant and had to keep his child I totally get Josh, that he doesn't want anyone to know. But it's also true that he found out when it was too late for abortion ( hat clinic staff even remembered him years later), so it's actually his own fault. Since he only had sex with (non alpha) women before, actually a lot of them, and he can't get anyone pregnant, he probably forgot that he himself can get pregnant.
What do you mean on the doctor's side? For stating facts? The author made that doctor (and his parents before) a necessity for dominant alphas. So ask the author why they did it, if you have a problem with it.
Other options? You mean telling Chase the truth about the dog and suddenly all of Chase's problems are gone? Unlikely. Other options? None, not before Josh.
I don't know, I read KML and KMIYC a few years ago and after that the other Miller novels, this year only the extras of LMUIYC and DMIYC. Steward is everywhere, I think he plays a bigger part in Kiss the stranger, but I didn't read that one ( that one has torture? or something like that in it). So I'm probably kind of used to him by now, and not that shocked as you seem to be. In general I'm not that shocked anymore by the author's work. You probably would have gotten a different reaction when I read it first, but I read KML before.... .
And I mostly prefere to be more objective, when I engage in any discussion. And this is still a fictional work. If that comes over as if I have no emphaty (which isn't true) that's your problem not mine.

Even if it's not real life, it's called having an opinion on the story, being immensed in it and actually wishing the best for the main leads literally. We KNOW it's fiction, but we cheer for the leads moving forward, that's normal when reading LMAO. Just because we want to kill the doctor doesn't mean we want to kill people in real life yknow? So that statement just crumbles itself. Even if it's the REALITY, it's fiction and we just want to kill him off, that's really it, I can't understand your viewpoint on it, we just hope he feels what he does to others cause that would be satisfying EVEN if it doesn't happen, it's called again, having an opinion on the story and just wanting them to feel pain. But also I never said Josh wasn't totally not at fault, I just said he was in the situation and couldn't do anything about it, but then again it's the same saying of how I explained "he STILL could've done something" like at the same time I'm pretty sure he got himself into a drastic accident, not on purpose and the pregnancy doesnt show signs immediately, plus he's working and more, I'm sure it's literally something he wouldn't be able to avoid.
I'm not against the author, they made the story as it is, I'm asking why are you standing up for a psycho doctor character in the story that fucks up people even if they're the "only best" doctor? Like usually in reading you don't cheer for the ones that are causing pain on the characters you love, unless you have a resemblance to them in real life?
Other options as it's an opinionated thought, you know that just because the story is the way that it is DOESN'T MEAN anything else may happen right? Like how would you know that there isn't? The author didn't specify there is, just that they are using what IS currently at the moment. You are seriously not getting my point of the conversation. I know the story and how the story is, I'm going based on my own thoughts and like "what if" not a "oh there is another option", and you are going at it like the reality of the story is the only thing that matters which is far from the idea of why we want to kill the doctor. Reality sucks, life sucks sure, but this is reading, we want to imagine, read and think the what ifs, what will happen, wanting a character to die, I'm really confused on how you only see it by a reality aspect and not in the way the convo explains it.
I'm also not saying you're unempathic for seeing it objectively, but mainly if you don't really care about the Main characters you are rooting for that are getting hurt and thinking "oh that's just the reality" like if reading all those stories made you really desensitized from all this, then that's what is unempathetic. Everyone has their own way of reading which I respect, but either you're just nto as invested as I am or just don't really care about the story/characters as much as I do and just see it as another "plain and boring" story written by the author.
That's my key points, and I have read for many years and Im sure you have read so many works especially of this author, but no matter how many fucked up stories I've read I still cheer the MC on, even if it's hopeless for them to escape or be better, hell, I've read where the MC dies and it's a masterpiece of a story, but do you understand where I'm coming from? You can't seem to get why we want the doctor to die, you just see it as he NEEDS to be in the story that's it cause otherwise the story "falls" apart.

I think I'll stop commenting on this, because I think I know what the problem is, since I read DMIYC live this year. It's a big difference if you read a story in one go which I did with KMIYC, and for me that was years ago, or read it in daily/weekly chapters. The experience is different, you think more about what happend next/ what could happen. I forgot that when I started to comment.
So have fun speculating.
Dark topic ahead dont read if uncomfy
I dont know who that doctor is nor i give a fuck but never have i ever want to kill a doctor so bad that treats patients as experiments. Fuck you go to hell. Why the fuck you all want Chase to suffer so much? Just for the fun? Well I would love to have fun killing you all and say its fun and let out my inner Enoshima Junko stan. You’re also fucked up when you want two brothers rape their little brother because you’re curious, oh yeah I’m also curious if you’ll beg if I torture by pulling out each of your fingernails.
Those two strangers at the last chapter ain’t it. I’m still pissed off by that doctor that I also want those two dead. Heck I wanna torture them because I’m in a bad mood. Leave Chase alone you all fucking psychos and go to hell.
Sorry for the dark comment, i got so triggered. I hope Josh punch all of them and make them bleed.
