Rereading this is such a joy, my heart keeps breaking for these two. I love how incredibly mature shinwoo is, he’s painfully realistic and pessimistic - his depression isn’t portrayed into an extreme which is why it’s so, so relatable. He isn’t scared of acknowledging it and he wont sugarcoat Han’s flaws as well.
How strong can you be, shinwoo, to see eye to eye with the problematic and almost toxic side of your lifelong crush? “It was his inconsistency I couldn’t rely on” and it’s the same for the readers as well. He’s so, so relatable and it HURTS.
Also Han being painfully human, arrogant and chasing only gratification, attention, love. He’s a jerk but same, because who wouldn’t be like that honestly.
They both had such an amazing character growth and seeing their love flourish for each other and both turning into a better version of themselves is just so touching!! I love them so much
