I think Sasha is a girl, more of a tomboy girl type possibly. It is a shame how real this series is with cats. I'm an avid cat lover, and it breaks my heart seeing all the cats in the neighborhood that are left out by their owners. I'm a type that if I have a cat, they stay indoors unless they're on a leash for outside. The screened in porch is as far as they go out on their own because I care too much for their personal health.
It's the same everywhere, but in the end...not all people could handle cats.

Anyway, speaking of Sasha...the translation is all over the place when it comes to their pronouns. I get that Sasha is a unisex name but are they a boy or a girl? Nonbinary? Genderfluid?
