THANK YOUUU! KD is also a POS 100% and I thank you for recognizing that. JK is a rapist, straight up. But KD actually endangers the lives of himself and others with his reckless behavior. Also, KD lives with a strange old man because he can't deal with his issues on his own. It's not cute. He is not girl-bossing his way out of the hole he's in without stupid JK kicking his ass out of it. Which he'll fortunately likely do the moment his traumatized moronic ass realizes he needs to stop perpetualizing the abuse. If he accidentally trips into therapy it's game over.

If the author even just mentions therapy, I will throw a party in her honor :)
I agree, KD actually needs someone who can shake him a little, because every time someone else asks him politely he pretends everything's all right and then does worse.
He has a lot of people around him who genuinely care, but he's too much of martyr to realize that. The weird thing is, he's the only family his granny has left, if something happens to him and his granny survives, who's gonna take care of her? Is he so far gone he doesn't understand that even after all the moaning about not doing enough for her?!
I can't condone a lot of JK's behaviour, it would be nice if he stumbled on some powerpoint slides on human decency before entering in any relationship, but I really can't stand people who depict KD as a saint.
Anyway, I hope they get their heads out of their asses, or, you know, granny gets tired of this shit, smacks their heads against the bed rail and straightens them up just to get a little peace... Best happy ending :)
... People keep comparing JK and KD's childhoods.
As if growing up poor with a loving parenting figure is the same as growing up poor with a violent drug addict that starves you, harms you physically and abuses you psychologically...
"But KD didn't turn out as bad as JK!" No shit, Sherlock-
Speaking of KD, he didn't turn out that good either, he has severe abandonment issues that he tries to drown by smoking and drinking to the point he almost offs himself, he's a health professional and he never seeks help even when he starts endangering other people.
When he started drinking in the hotel room immediately after he was specifically told not to by a doctor I wanted to slap him myself.
He's an adult who made a lot of questionable choices, can't stand his ground for shit, he's really bad at communicating and hides things or outright lies and then cries about the consequences. His background story is a trope as much as JK's but I don't see anyone complaining, just because he's cute and polite and cares about his granny sooooo much.
I wish people would stop with the double standards and accept that both KD and JK are flawed people in their own way, one (JK) more than the other for obvious reasons.
I assume everyone reading knows by now that they're gonna get together in the end, but with what happened in season 1 there's no doubt it will take a lot of time and effort.
They both need to work on their issues, learn to lean on each other a little, and who knows, maybe that's what will happen if you just... I dunno, let the author draw and wait to see how the plot will evolve instead of endlessly complaining about how bad this still ongoing story is.
P.S: If I were a bad person, I would wish for the author to read and listen to all your complaints and end the story in the next chapter with KD telling JK to f* off 'cause he' a jerk and JK agreeing and leaving him alone, which is what you seem to want... but I'm not that cruel, what would you spend you time complaining about then?
