wow the father needs to see a therapist but also i can understand why he locked his feelings away. like, imagine the person you love out of nowhere saying they don’t love you and in the same breath almost killed you. i’m a real hater as well so i would have moved the same way he did but that may be controversial idk lol. not saying he should be so cruel to this girl but then again he cannot wrap his head around that someone who literally said they hated him & almost killed him would bear his child. it makes sense he just sees the fl as his ex’s child that should could have had with another man (hence why he’s so shocked that she’s mixed also her eyes should have been a dead giveaway but i digress) & not his. so, the way he’s moving makes sense cause i’m petty like that. i would have said fuck you & them kids too . but nah seeing him treat his daughter like that while knowing the truth is soooo aggravating as the reader. things could have been easily avoided if the mother wasn’t being selfish & was just straight up with him cause like she knew her clan wasn’t going to accept her daughter who isn’t a full breed dragon. like, if we have to be real the mother is at fault here. fl could have been living with her father without being neglected cause he would have been taking care of his daughter if he knew what was happening but that didn’t happen & instead her daughter grew up neglected. i get it’s for the plot cause we live for the angst & the drama but yeah she dead wrong for that literally and figuratively. also, i’m not saying the father is completely right here cause he’s not. sealing his emotions away does more damage than good but i’m just saying, realistically, that i get it.
