Regardless of everything else, fuck JK's mom. I get that she had to leave to protect herself, but not taking him with her was strike one, her not picking up when JK tried to call her as a child was strike two and abandoning him even after his dad died was strike three
I get it was a shitty situation for her and she was in danger, but that was her SON, and she just abandoned him to actual hell on Earth that might kill him to save herself. Fuck her
