The bulk of the manga centers on this very dangerous situation, but she is always alert and analytical and doesn't ever dismiss or underestimate the situation. Her trauma gets the better of her a bit toward the end, but that's understandable. (spoilers below)
I mean, she sees through the fire extinguisher, the fake cop, and when she gets kidnapped her escape is some straight up Batman shit. Her intelligence saved them both so many times. Jin Joo saves the day in the end with the police, and the call to stall the guy, but Doyeon acquitted herself *amazingly*. She's catapulted to one of my favorite protagonists. Absolute certified badass.
