I have a theory

I bet the prince is the cause of all those creepy ghosts, he and his friend are sus af the way they were looking at Hailey it was like they knew something

I may be completely wrong but what if Hailey's father is in alliance with the prince and they both allied with the Daimon kingdom? That's why the duke wanted his son there,i'm sure he knew the king won't approve it so he made sure to reaaaally insist and low-key harass him about it so that the king will have no choice but to call for the prince? In both cases the duke wins I'm not sure if the duke is intelligent enough to manipulate the king that way, or is he being manipulated by the prince?

But I guess I have to wait for season 2 to know
