I totally agree with you. Tbh, im only staying for what Ido felt when the gun incident happened. Like does he start changing his mind about Sejin? Does he feel restless when he sees that sad face, when he hurt him? What did he feel when Sejin shot the gun at himself (accidently or purposefully)? So many questions. I would've dropped this already if i knew but her i am
So I know they're engaged but it was a business decision from both companies. There's no love and affection there. And even then, Ido has barely treated Sejin as human or that he even exists. There were moments of kindness but not enough to feel some sort of attachment, at least as a reader I feel more detached from him.
So when he talks of betrayal, I feel like that's a bit overboard when he barely did a thing to make Sejin feel or form any bond with him to label something he did as "betrayal". I kinda get it because they're engaged but again, Sejin chose to keep the promise with his so called "family" because he felt some sort of bond and loyalty with them than he did with Ido. So of course it never crossed his mind to think of you.
There's barely a relationship between them to label something Sejin did as betrayal. Idk. Ido's expecting too much for something he didn't even put any thought or effort on. That's on you too bro, not just on Sejin
