Most of the time sa victims suffer hyper sexual activities after their trauma. I believe that the author is trying to convey that ml is suffering and is traumatized. The creepy rando guy is using the ml and recognizes that he isn’t mentally okay and is manipulating him to get what he wants. This whole plot line is deeper than him just sleeping with somebody else but is actually shaping the ml’s character. I’m not saying that his trauma is an excuse for how he is treating his love interest but I feel it is unnecessary to be upset at him for sleeping with someone else. This is a very real situation that people go through everyday.
