Yeah, this pretty much sums up my feelings.

It’s not total ass, but the story progression is confusing and the characters feel disingenuous. It goes from point A to point B way too fast, and the ML doesn’t grow fundamentally in a way that makes sense (to me)- don’t even get me started on the miscommunication between these two- Fucking TALK omfg. It has its sweet moments, like the love confession and the epilogue, but everything else? Like I said, no sense. And the rape was completely out of left field and left a bad taste in my mouth towards the ML for the rest of the series. I’m holding out a lot of hope for the sequel, it’s going pretty good so far.
