like for some reason the characters just have to confess even though they have zero chance like WHY
Probably to get it off their chest. And to hear the confirmation of rejection out loud vs imagining or assuming it on their own. Sometimes you have to firmly hear a rejection to move on
I did that a lot. I have low self esteem and having someone reject me helped me having an easier time with forgetting about my feelings for them.
However, I was not always rejected, so I did get some relationships out of it.
i can never understand the concept of confessing to be rejected for closure…… like ive never seen this before i started watching animes and reading mangas/manhwas
