Ryuu is definitely aware that Koutarou can’t smell him anymore that’s why he did what he did ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ I wish they would talk about it right away, but I can sense a ton of drama for the entire Volume 3, but as long as it’s a happy ending, I’m fine with it!!! I wish the author wouldn’t hurt us so much though ╥﹏╥
