Do we know why the alpha doesn’t want to bite him?? It’s been so fucking long since the end of the last volume that I can’t remember if they’ve fully talked about it. I sort of recall Miyanaga telling the alpha that he could bite him, and Miyanaga mentions it in that last chapter (I had to reread it to have any hope of knowing wtf was going on in this first chapter lol)
im pretty sure it was because he has been fighting within himself for control this whole time so he’s afraid that biting him will be him allowing himself to lose control. he views the bite as an act of him exerting power over his partner, esp cuz bro bro didnt want to get bitten at first so he actually had to hold himself back. he wants to be a good partner so he doesnt want to lose that control and and inadvertently hurt him in anyway. essentially he convinced himself it was a bad thing to the point that it went from being “dont lose control and bite him bc he doesnt want it yet” to “dont lose control and bite him EVER”
well, in chapter 6 the omega said he could've bite him but the alpha said no, bc how would they explain that to his parents since they just started dating and are still at college but beside that, he hasn't explained with details why, he just said that once and that was all, so the omega has been thinking why he doesn't just do it and maybe bc he feels kinda doubtful about the alpha's feelings, that's affecting how the alpha perceives his pheromones

And not, you know, the two of them just fucking feeling out and realizing the imbalance on their own. Cause you KNOW Miyanaga going to that party and sitting there for a whole ass hour without going over to the alpha was him confirming for himself that the alpha can no longer smell him. So he has apparently been suspicious about it for a bit now. Sigh
I don't think they aren't in love anymore but maybe the omega's insecurity about the alpha not biting him is kinda affecting their bond and that's why he can’t smell his pheromones
