What's a Gamma?

From what I've read in other omega verse stories basically a recessive alpha. Has alpha genes but more beta or even omega tendencies.

They are the least affected by pheromones and much more difficult to turn, that's why most of the bodyguards of dominant alphas are gammas. Iirc it was also mentioned in thes novel when they replaced the original bodyguard team, but the manhwa adaption left that out.
If an gamma is turned, the chance to survive it is low, they become very weak and their life span shorten, it get worse if they give birth.
Chase's grandfather was a gamma turned omega.
