i think it might be a mistranslation because he wasn't really adopted, but more like sponsored. i was confused with this too before, but MC is still with his mom and dad, he's just being taken care of financially with his education
Why are they mixing up the families and why is his current family ok with him being "adopted", like what is going on and like bruhh if you were going to love your life like you did previously what's the point???? Like it's more like reliving his previous life as a stranger child. It's too focused on his past life and not current. Even his actual current family is shadowed by his rich parents....
