Maybe I'm asking too much but I feel like that ending was way too rushed. Why was a conclusion only reached between Maythen and Carsen and not the other two as well?/ I know he was literally at death's door, but they were also literally standing right there. It just felt a bit messy and disappointing that he couldn't exchange at least one word with the other two people who cared so much about him. There's a chance it will be cleared up somehow in the side stories, and i really hope so because there's sooo much stuff that feels like it happened for the sake of happening. I'm not complaining about the rest of the story though since that was literal peak I just read.
