this manga adaptation is a prelude to a novel, so there's an actual novel that takes place after this (the main story).
the novel is really good and well written, but is also unfinished.
It said tbc at the bottom of the last chapter so I bet it’s just the end of the volume although it was quickly paced
Well that was disappointing, the story itself was already weak and the ending is like this. Guess not every anthology one shot gets good serialization
