Okay so, don't get me wrong, this is my personal opinion and you don't have to agree with me. I like how Erez's character is written, esp in this timeline since he was an absolute scumbag in the previous one. The yandereness is still there since he targeted a good looking theatre member this time. I would have held him in a better light had he not done that, but it was done to shatter any hopes of his character redemption.
What I don't like is, the direction his plot is going. It would be a good end to his life if he just died there. But no, the red haired devil has decided to restore his memories from his former life and I feel like that ruins the character he developed in this timeline. In a way it's like an older save file overwriting the newer save file but the personality is absolutely horrible in the older one.
Then again, this is my personal pet peeve in stories where the antagonist also gains memories along with the protagonist and make things harder for the latter in the name of spicing up the drama and thrill.
It was already tough for Ayana to steel her resolve and let him die. Her main goal was revenge against the Russells, and she had to achieve it no matter what.
