this webtoon was so hyped all over socmed that i kinda expected a multi-layered plot riddled with twists, but it was quite simple and light-hearted. ig people yearn for a refreshing story in a sea of toxic angsty bl.
both mcs were entertaining & relatable to an extent. i was all for seyeong pushing heejae away at first (bc wtf home invasion). tho upon seeing heejae’s pov, i switched up and started rooting for him. tbh, if seyeong’s internal dilemma prolonged any further, i would’ve been well and truly annoyed with him lol. so i teared up from joy when he finally confessed. i still wish the push and pull had been shorter so there’d been more chapters of them as an actual couple.
lastly, i wouldn’t have enjoyed this a fraction as much as i did if not for the MAJESTIC art. like the artist really made sure heejae had zero bad angles. plus his in-game avatar is gorgeous too. the female character designs were also PEAK.
