Agreed. Second ML had always been with her too yk. And he seems to like genuinely like her while our ML seems to see her as a friend so far. Obv he’s gonna develop feelings later but who cares our 2ML likes her rnnn(〜￣△￣)〜
The only thing is that he didn’t even realize that he was hurting her with the closing jokes. As someone who uses humor as a coping mechanism, I really related to that. Like, I laugh it off to not show how uncomfortable or sad I get. Meanwhile, the ml tells her she shouldn’t laugh at something that puts her down unless she actually finds it funny. (Even my sister knows there are some subjects she shouldn’t joke about with me, despite us making fun of each other a lot)
I just don’t think he’s right for her or who she needs at the moment.

Yeah I get that. I fucking laughed when he gifted her underwear lol. I just don’t think the second ml is who she needs at the moment cause the mc definitely has self esteem issues(I do too so I can tell lol) so the ml who believes in her without putting her down really is what suits her at the moment, since she needs someone who will support her
