I don't really like mc... but can understand her till some point. I get the reason ml is the way he is... but I really hate him... like can you imagine the massive pain that would be dealing with someone like him? Mc needing to tipotoe around him and "educate him" is also a big red flag... this whole it's not his fault, it wasn't on purpose and I can fix him and all that is actually very toxic. I could swallow with a grain of salt if they trully stayed as friends after she helps him but if he is the true end game ml the story changes.
Tbh both the CP and the golden eyed mage are way better choices as mls... mc's feelings sound more like guilt and years of brainwashing than love. Only thing ml has going for him is the looks... and I like the other 2 more...
