Cliff didn't groom him. Grooming is when someone older raises you with intention of turning you into a bride or loved one. Please do some research on what actually Grooming is please. Leon naturally fell in love with cliff as an adult. He didn't feel romantic towards cliff when he was younger and neither did cliff.
YK grooming is for mortals/humans right? neither one of them are human.. that kind of mentality should be thrown off the roof, we could be like that to normal stories but this is not it..
not saying we should also disregard every thing that's wrong with this story its just age is not our biggest problem here ..
