I guess it's alright? but why open with the protagonist portrayed as a villainess if she barely uses her ability to actually inflict harm on people and when she does it's justified. She is through and through a heroine, her morals aren't questionable nor are her actions.

For her trauma response It feels TO ME that it's not handled in a way that actually makes the reader feel impacted. Sure it's like awe her family died but we don't really see how her grief affects her except for in those scenes where they talk about her family's mysterious death. All of a sudden she CAN act as if she is grieving but after a few panels its as if it never happened? you get what i mean?

Now I'm not saying they should show her being a complete wreck 24/7 but with the way this comic goes about it you would think she HASN'T healed completely from what happened to her family. So why is it that it isn't shown throughout her daily life? She may be a gentle and kind character but show her at the minimum affected in some way. Make her look at the flowers in the church and have a tiny bubbly text of a child's giggle resembling that of her brother as she reminceses of better times or maybe have her heal people and then either think she sees her mom or dad hell even her brother in these people.

Make her desire to heal others at the beginning caused by her guilt about being unable to save her family. Give her issues with abandonment, make her cling to the priest who said he would take care of her for now on because he is all she has left. Hell make her cling to her "best friend" in subtle ways. Trauma affects people in so many ways and I feel like hers was only ever brought up to try and ellicit an emotional scene.

When the prince almost dies, they could've made her sacrifice tie into her family as well. Her unwavering love for both him and her family and the acceptance and relief at having saved him from death unlike when she was young.

For the villianess part, we see her "break" in the first chapter and declare she won't ever heal again with a wicked smile. Cmon if you want to drive home that she is going to be different and be bad than atleast try to have her do petty "crimes". She literally never changed. I geniunelt don't know what to even reccomend for this because she has been NICE and GENTLE since the beginning it feels inherently wrong to try and change her because then the story in itself will be changed due to her personality switch.

All in all it's a typical story where you know what will happen and you know what side will win since the beginning. Its NOT. a horrible read but it can certainly be better. — coming from a dude that just reads p00rn on this website and doesn't gaf about plots usually.
