I kinda thought I was the only one thinking that but I wasn't sure if its just bc I've read too many red/black flags. I didn't think the ML was that bad. Like sure its not great to lie but his primary mistake seems to come from hiring the MC under the ruse of teaching German for the sake of setting up more interactions bc the ML was interested in him.

I was expecting a high ratio of dislikes, glad to see some people have a similar thought and perspective. It’s just, the story portrays ML as a criminal with the whole kneeling and crying. Readers might just not be used to this, but still. Lying about not knowing a language isn’t horrible, it is stupid and an asshole move considering the ML did this just to get in his tutor’s pants but not worth kneeling and crying, looking like a dead man.
Uigun (Top) was verbally shitty talking during sex, but even with that, I didn’t expect him to kneel and cry. It feels a bit OOC too considering his personality, I expected him to just be frustrated and apologise, not cry.

I don't remember all that clearly but at the very least he did know Uigun had that reputation and was using every study period for sex instead of learning. Im more surprised by how much the readers are persecuting the ML than anything else.
The MC always has a right to end things whenever they feel uncomfortable and the ML i guess is just teary since he had all these dreams/expectations of being with the MC. I'm just surprised how much readers think he needs to grovel.
Just my opinion. 5+ chapters of the top chasing after the bottom over this is over dramatic. The bottom is just hurt and I think the top should leave him be, I don’t like seeing the top be so pathetic. The bottom should stop being funny by agreeing to have sex, acting like the top wants sex and he knows he doesn’t. It is all pettiness. Just leave and don’t look back at the man that hurt you, no regrets.
The top should just apologise and leave it at there. Personally I feel what the top did is not worth having this big of a deal and 5+ chapters of chasing/grovel.

I think I’m just so used to tops treating the bottoms like pure trash (Rape, Physical abuse, etc) that this seems comedic especially the crying part. Dude, stand up and walk away, live your own life and pursue another that you’re honest with from the beginning.
