first of all the character writing is great the author really gets those messy, maybe annoying feelings when you're in love and feeling needy and insecure but also recognize that you're doing the Most (so i really like that yunoh is like i'm pretty exhausting to be around). its interesting to see ppl be like yunoh is so valid! when i think as someone who's been on the other end of the relationship i'm like JUST COMMUNICATE ALREADY like haewon is doing a lot for him in his own way and there's only so much you can do when no one is being honest about how they feel and what they need to hear from each other.
i think it's also how fictionally we tend to side with whoever seems more lovelorn and "vulnerable" whereas you assume characters like haewon who seem more "alpha" are the ones with more power and seem to care less - but when you get to their pov you realize that's not the case. (many of my fav manhwas are like this hehe)
