I love this. Because for all intents and purposes, we are throwing tomatoes at this ML for being fucking wild in his thoughts and actions. But then when we take a step back and remove our own bias, you’re so right that the boot would never think about the ants perspective in these scenarios.
The thing is, I don't know what to feel about these stories that have non human characters because for all intents and purposes, human morality means nothing to him. It also does not help that he was just around Derek for almost his entire life and Derek catered to his every whim so he is even less knowledgeable about what is right and wrong according to human society.
