The absolute worse it's that once I read one were Guy A drank to gain confidence to confess to guy B but guy A got sick and throw up so girl C helped him, B saw A and C together and thought they were kissing, hurt he no longer talked to A and they drifted apart.
A and B still love each other many years after that and they casually meet in a bar and talk about old time and said goodbye afterwards

this made me realize AGAIN how many beautiful relationships filled with love and honesty we lost because of dumbass homophobic breeders. just because the people were the same gender. it makes me furious
