I feel like it’s barely a love triangle. It’s heavily implied that Heewon is only doing this (helping Hangyul/interfering with his relationship) so he has a chance at bagging the brother. Trust me, they’ll have a happy ending…it’s just gonna hurt to get there.
I see where you’re coming from but Heewon said himself that he started having these dreams that slowly led up to them having sex in his dreams. The author is definitely implying a future love triangle and yes although we all know who's gonna be endgame I still yearn for a second ML to be endgame.
This is unfortunately never the case… Wet Sand has irrevocably damaged my capacity to root for the second ML and survive.

Overall I do like the second ML wait better than the first and of course i will be rooting for him but we all know who MC is gonna end up with. That’s why love triangles that aren’t made clear from the beginning piss me off. I hate that we’re getting the chance to see how good second ML is just for him to most likely not be endgame. To end this off Im letting this marinate because I don't my heart can bear what’s going to happen because I suffer from Second Lead Syndrome. ╥﹏╥
